B. Baseball Evaluation Sessions for Grades 3-8 Sunday, February 23, 2012, from 1:30-5:30 p.m. at the Georgetown Prep Fieldhouse.
For an information sheet providing details regarding the 2014 baseball evaluation sessions, click on the 2014 Baseball Evaluation Sessions link below.
Evaluators are outside parties who provide an objective assessment. De Chantal coaches will help run the drills, but will not rate the players. The scores from the drills will be used to rank the players and as the basis for determining whether callbacks are necessary for any of the players.
Conflicts: The St. Jane CYO requests that EVERY PLAYER attend this evaluation session. If there is an unavoidable conflict (namely CYO basketball) please let the CYO know the player is unable to attend this evaluation session. It is, however, important that the CYO be able to evaluate as many players as possible at Prep, so please make every effort to attend.
Players who have committed to play are expected to honor that commitment regardless of the team on which they are placed.
FOR SAFETY REASONS, ONLY PLAYERS, COACHES, AND EVALUATORS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PLAYING SURFACE DURING EVALUATIONS. ANY PARENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WISH TO OBSERVE EVALUATIONS MAY DO SO FROM THE STANDS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION IN THIS REGARD.
All team assignments are contingent on receipt by the St. Jane CYO of a completed on-line registration and the correct fee. Registration Materials WILL NOT be accepted at the evaluation sessions.
Team Assignments for Spring 2014 Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Rookie Baseball Teams Are Posted in the Evaluation Results/Team Rosters Link Below.

E. T-BALL Registration (Grades K-2)
The St. Jane de Chantal CYO will once again sponsoring co-educational, intramural T-ball for Kindergarteners and those in Grades 1 and 2 during Spring 2014! Games will be held on Friday evenings May 9 (session originally scheduled for May 2 canceled because of wet field conditions), and 30, and June 6 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at DeChantal on the field to the side of the school. Emphasis will be on instruction, fun, and a family atmosphere including hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and sodas on sale (No need to cook dinner!). Uniforms will be provided.
Ask anyone who participated last year about what a great experience this was for the children as well as an opportunity to socialize with other families.
To make this happen, volunteer help of all shapes and sizes will be needed, including coaches, coordinators, and cooks. Please step up to the plate and help to continue what has become a great DeChantal tradition! To volunteer, please send an e-mail to email@example.com that provides the name and grade of the player; your name, phone number, and e-mail address; and whether you would like to volunteer as a coach, cook, coordinator, or "whatever is needed."
All DeChantal parish and school children are welcome.
The player participation fee is $35 and registration will be done via the SportsPilot online system. Registration will begin later this spring at
