Fall 2011 Soccer Registration
(Fall 2011 Grades 1-8)
The parent/guardian of EVERY player wishing to register for Fall 2011 soccer MUST access the Archdiocesan CYO on-line registration website. (See the Online Registration link to the left for complete details regarding the registration process.)
Those already in the system must access each player's account, enter the player's Fall 2011 grade, any other updated information (e.g., e-mail address), and review and accept the Standards of Spectator Behavior. Those not currently in the on-line system (e.g., 2010-11 kindergartners) must register using the system. Each parent/guardian must then print the on-line registration summary information form, SIGN and date the form, and provide it to the St. Jane CYO with the appropriate fee. (EACH CHILD'S FORM MUST HAVE A SYSTEM-PRINTED GRADE TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION. Writing the grade on the form by hand DOES NOT complete the registration process.)
Forms/fees can be returned on Tuesday, May 3, between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Building or by mail to Paul Bollwerk, 9506 Kingsley Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814-1637. For registrations received after May 3, 2011, team placement is contingent on the St. Jane CYO having room on teams for additional players.

Fees for Fall 2011 Soccer is as follows:

*Because of an anticipated change in the Archdiocesan CYO on-line registration system beginning with 2011-12 Winter Basketball, All Sports registration is not being offered for school term 2011-12.
Fee checks should be made payable to DeChantal CYO. A family check is acceptable for registration fee payments.

Team Closures and Wait List Procedure
Effective immediately, all Grades 1-8 fall soccer teams are closed. To get on a wait list for any of these teams, please e-mail the player's name and grade to Paul Bollwerk at bollwerk@erols.com. Do not send any registration forms/fees. You will be contacted if there is an opening.
Any wait list request will be subject to the $30 late fee in the event an opening occurs.

Grades 5-8 evaluations for Fall Soccer and all other CYO sports are conducted in accord with Archdiocesan CYO guidelines, which can be found under the Team Selection Process link at www.washcyo.com. This process emphasizes team selection based on skill levels. We urge all parents to support this process and to encourage their children to participate on the St. Jane CYO team for which they are selected.

All team assignments are contingent on receipt by the St. Jane CYO of a completed on-line registration form and the correct fee. Registration forms/fees are not accepted at evaluation sessions.
Fall Soccer Uniform Pickup for Grades 3-8
This year, we again are providing uniforms (jerseys and shorts) for Varsity/Junior Varsity (Grades 5-8) teams and game jerseys (in lieu of T-shirt jerseys) for Rookie (Grades 3-4) teams. (Players are asked to provide their own soccer socks, which should be solid black in color.) Given the expense involved, we are requesting that parents provide a deposit check for each player's uniform at the time of uniform pickup, payable to DeChantal CYO, in the amount of $100 for each Varsity/JV uniform and $50 for each Rookie jersey. A separate check should be written for each uniform issued (no family checks, please).

Cadet 1 and Cadet 2 players will be given T-shirt jerseys by their coaches that are theirs to keep after the season is over.

FALL 2011 KINDERGARTEN CLINIC
Parent Volunteers Are Always Welcome!
The St. Jane CYO will once again sponsor its Fall Kindergarten Soccer Clinic, which is open to all St. Jane parish and school kindergarteners (No Pre-K please).
The Clinic will be held on Saturday, October 1, 15, 22, and 29, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the field next to St. Jane school. Complete details, contact information, and a registration form can be found under the Kindergarten Soccer Clinic link below.
