Fall 2013 Soccer Evaluation Schedule and Results
Fall 2013 Grades 5-8
Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys
(Rising Grades 7 and 8)
Varsity Girls - June 6 (5:00-6:30 p.m.) and June 14 (4:00-5:00 p.m.)
Varsity Boys - June 6 and 11 - 6:30-8:00 p.m.
JV Girls and JV Boys
(Rising Grades 5 and 6)
JV Girls - May 29 (5:00-6:30 p.m.) and June 14 (3:00-4:00 p.m.)
JV Boys - May 29 (6:30-8:00 p.m.) and June 11 (5:00-6:30 p.m.)
All Varsity and JV Evaluation Sessions at Montrose Elementary School, 12301 Academy Way, Rockville, MD (Off Parklawn North of Randolph Rd.), with the exception of the June 14 evaluation sessions for the JV and Varsity Girls, which are at Stratton Local Park, 9925 Harrogate Rd., Bethesda.
To Be Considered for Placement on an "A" Team, it is Recommended that a Player Attend BOTH Evaluation Sessions, but a Player MUST Attend One Evaluation Session.
Grades 5-8 evaluations for Fall Soccer and all other CYO sports are conducted in accord with Archdiocesan CYO guidelines, which can be found under the Team Selection Process link at www.washcyo.com. This process emphasizes team selection based on skill levels. We urge all parents to support this process and to encourage their children to participate on the St. Jane CYO team for which they are selected.

Fall Soccer Uniform Pickup for Grades 3-8
This year, we again are providing uniforms (jerseys and shorts) for Varsity/Junior Varsity (Grades 5-8) teams and game jerseys (in lieu of T-shirt jerseys) for Rookie (Grades 3-4) teams. (Players are asked to provide their own soccer socks, which should be solid black in color.) Given the expense involved, we are requesting that parents provide a deposit check for each player's uniform at the time of uniform pickup, payable to DeChantal CYO, in the amount of $100 for each Varsity/JV uniform and $50 for each Rookie jersey. A separate check should be written for each uniform issued (no family checks, please).
Uniform Pickup Sessions:
Cadet 1 and Cadet 2 players will be given T-shirt jerseys by their coaches that are theirs to keep after the season is over.

FALL 2013 KINDERGARTEN CLINIC
Parent Volunteers Are Always Welcome!
The St. Jane CYO will once again sponsor its Fall Kindergarten Soccer Clinic, which is open to all St. Jane parish and school kindergarteners (No Pre-K please).
Sessions will be Saturdays (9/28/13 to 10/19/13) from Noon to 1 p.m. at the St. Jane Field (next to the school) Please Bring a Size 3 Soccer Ball and a Water Bottle and Wear Shin Guards (Cleats are Optional, Regular Tennis Shoes are Okay). Registation is $30 per Player via the Sports Pilot Link above. Registration Deadline is Friday, September 20, 2013.
